Today I would have been opening my autumn show – all new works in a new style – so exciting! But lockdown means nobody is allowed to come to see it!
So I am running a virtual exhibition instead…. with a video to show you round and little chats about individual works.
With a realistic painting, you can probably see straight away what it is… but abstract works are more to do with invisibles, feelings, inner meanings. And that is what I am working on now.
For instance, during this summer, for some reason, large birds started to appear in my paintings. This one, in vivid colours and with the sunlight behind it, appears in a dynamic cityscape, with towers around it. It is called Curious Bird, Trickster and is set in a vivid mount and frame…
It’s priced at £290 and is 40x27cm, acrylic on paper.
I love it and I hope you do too!
And now, as you aren’t able to come and visit in person, here’s a quick tour of the show!
